"Bryce Canyon Lodge"

Opened in 1925, This rustic two-story national park lodge is surrounded by Ponderosa Pines that sets atop a Mesa about an eight of a mile from the rim of Bryce Canyon.

Constructed of native timber and stone with a dramatically steep pitched roof of green painted cedar shingles. The roof of the main lodge is supported by a superstructure of large columns with exposed wooden beams and trusses.

The interior is further accented by a distinctive large rock fireplace topped with a beautiful hammered copper hood. A collection of wrought-iron chandeliers and historic hickory furnishings further set the mood.

Step back in time to an atmosphere of the late 1920's. Bryce Canyon Lodge offers guests an accommodating convenient place to enjoy or explore Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah.

At just 35,835 acres. Bryce Canyon National Park is Utah' smallest national park. But it contains the worlds greatest collection of "Hoodoos" (unique geologic formations created by erosion) The canyon contains a beautiful collection of unique geologic formations carved from the eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau (pink cliffs) in southern Utah.
